I am stunned, I am crying for justice, my heart goes out to the Martin Family.
But that’s the country we live in, this is Florida, the state I live in; but this goes to show that every once in a while a jury will get it wrong. All the black people that juries have sent to prison, who now walk free, are a testament to how wrong juries can be. It is our system and we have to accept it. We will cry but we must accept it.
But it is hard to swallow when a perpetrator lies as much as GZ did and escapes justice; it is just as difficult to accept that a common sense jury would elect to let a murderer walk free.
To the Martins, cry and let go of the hurt, it’s over… Love Trayvon forever, like he lives on in our hearts. Look at him as a soldier who gave up his life for a cause…perhaps in the futurerighteous people will make laws to prevent this from happening again.
The world knows a travesty was committed today.
What goes around, comes around, a final justice will be served, you can count on that.
